Class 2 Driving Licence

Prerequisite: Hold a full Class 1 Licence for at least six months and obtain a Class 2 Learner's Licence.

Length of Course: Dependant on Driving Ability. Mixture of Theory and Practical.

Course Dates: As required.

Resources: Each client will receive study notes, work books, and their own log book. We supply the vehicle.

Outcomes: The course is based on Unit Standard 15164 (operate a Log Book) and Unit Standard 17574 (Drive a Rigid Vehicle)

After completing the course they will receive a LTSA approved certificate showing they have demonstrated competency in Units 15164 and 17574.

Clients add this to their licence after completing the course.

Class 3 Driving Licence

Prerequisite: Hold a full Class 2 Licence for at least six months and obtain a Class 3 Learner's Licence.

Length of Course: Variable. Mixture of Theory and Practical

Course Dates: As required

Outcomes: The course is based on Unit Standard 15164 (operate a Log Book) and Unit Standard 17575 (Operate a Medium Combination Vehicle)

After completing the course they will receive a LTSA approved certificate showing they have demonstrated competency in Units 15164 and 17575.

Class 4 Driving Licence


Prerequisite: Hold a full Class 2 or 3 Licence for at least six months and obtain a Class 4 Learner's Licence. No learner's test is required, obtain from an approved LTSA Licencing Agency.

Length of Course: Variable Mixture of Theory and Practical

Resources: Each client will receive study notes, work books, and their own log book.

Outcomes: The course is based on Unit Standard 15164 (operate a Log Book) and Unit Standard 17576 (Operate a Heavy Rigid Vehicle)

After completing the course they will receive a LTSA approved certificate showing they have demonstrated competency in Units 15164 and 17576.

Prerequisite: Hold a full Class 4 Licence for at least six months and obtain a Class 5 Learner's Licence.

Outcomes: The course is based on Unit Standard 15164 (operate a Log Book) and Unit Standard 17577 (Operate a Heavy Combination Vehicle), and Unit Standard 1734 (Manage Stress)

After completing the course they will receive a LTSA approved certificate showing they have demonstrated competency in these Units.
